Comr.
David Michael (Machoman) was born into the family of Mr. David & Mrs.
Paulina Agwu of Onugo Amalu-Agu L.G.A Okposi Town of Ebonyi State on 27th
August, 1991 some years ago. He is the third son out of five children (four
sons and one daughter) of Mr. & Mrs.
David Agwu, he was born in Mc 4 Hospital Abakaliki Ebonyi State.
He
started Nursery 1 in 1995 and finish Nursery 3 in 1998 at Nkechi Nursery and
Primary School Presco Abakaliki.
In
1998 him and his parent relocated to Wukari L.G.A Taraba State where he started
primay1 in a Government School in 1998 at St Mary Nursery and Primary School
and stopped at primary 5 in 2002 where he changed to a private school because
he was recorded as a highly intelligent student, he entered Joy Nursery and
Primary School Wukari, Taraba State to complete his primary academic in 2003,
his position in class from primary 1-6 falls within 1st – 4th
position. In his First School leaving Certificate he was given an order of
merit final year 3rd place out of 16, he was the time keeper and
regarded as hardworking student with good conduct
In
2003 he wrote a common entrance Exams and got admission into Government
Secondary School (JNR) Wukari, Taraba State, he started from JSS 1 in 2003 and
concluded JSS 3 in October 2006, in his JSS 3 he was given the position of
social prefect, he also represented the school in Cowbell Mathematics
Competition, in 2006 he wrote his Junior Secondary School Certificate
Examination where he scored 5 distinction, 5 credit, 2 pass and 1 failure, he
successfully entered into the Senior Secondary School in 2006 where he took 1st
Position in his 1st, 2nd and 3rd term and
transferred to Imade College Owo, Ondo State to complete his SS 2 and 3. Mr.
David Michael was admitted into SS 2 in 2007 at Imade College Owo and he was
the best Science Student (SS 2 – SS 3), best Mathematics Student and Second
Overall best Student in the School, he also represented the school in different
levels of Inter School Quiz and Debate and all was outstanding performance. In
SS 3 he was honored with the position of the Social Prefect and regarded as
well behaved Students.
Mr.
David Michael wrote WAEC in 2009 and excelled in all the subject except in
English, in 2010 he Rewrite the WAEC and excelled in the entire subject at one
sitting with 3 distinction and 5 credit, in the same year he wrote Jamb and
Score above 200, he applied for Medicine in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN),
Enugu State and he was not shortlisted in the Admission list. Mr. David Michael
was very good in craft work and a creative human being
In
2010 Mr. David Michael applied for a Pre-Science degree program at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) Awka, Anambra State,
he was shortlisted in the Admission list, during the Pre-Science Degree
Program, he was diligent and dedicated in his study, he worshiped at Deeper
Life Campus Fellowship and was the Evangelist hall Ref and also an Usher in the
Church and he even thought his course mate of which most of them got admission
the same year he applied for admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka,
Anambra State in 2011 to study Architecture and he was admitted through PUTME
Mr.
David Michael started his level 100 in the Department of Architecture, Faculty
of Environmental Sciences. In 2011/2012 academic session, he excelled in all
his courses and moves to level 200 where he performed excellently and he served
as a Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at Students’ Union Government (SUG)
and was the Secretary Committee on Security in the house.
In
2012/2013 Session he run for a position of the Treasurer Faculty of
Environmental Sciences Students’ Association (FESSA) UN-opposed, in the same
year due to his passion to impact knowledge and make a change he established a
Foundation with her member more than 50 and called it Machoman Building
Construction Foundation (MBCF) which was later renamed Integrated Design
Foundation (IDF) with the aim of building a team that will stand out in
building industry, academically and be free from financial bondage. He was the
president of IDF in 2012 and he is also the Chief Founding Officer (CFO), he
recorded a massive success in the academic of her member through the
organization of free tutorial for her member, the foundation have an
increasingly number of member because of it all round benefit and exposure.
Mr.
David Michael in his quest to solve Student Problem established Machoman
Enterprise shop located inside the school at the back of Architecture
Department where he deals on Drawing stationery and Phone/Computer Accessories,
he started from grassroots and moves from grass to grace and he is still aiming
high.
During
the 2013/2014 academic session, he contested for the position of the Director
of Social of the Department of Architecture and won his opponent with a voting
count of two times his opponent vote.
Despite
all his business and political pursuit, Mr. David Michael never slack in his
academic performances instead his grade point continues to increase as he moves
from one level to the other and that is why one of his Lecturer Arc. Bons
Obiadi write in his article published in the ECLECTIC Inaugural Edition,
Architecture Students Association, NAU, Awka (2015) he said as I quote. Mr.
David Michael has a General Merchandise Career, and a Consummate Architecture
Student. Mr. Michael has over time and within the short period he has been in
the department, shown both consummate restraint and overwhelming determination
to succeed in all his endeavors. He knows how to lead, carry his fellow
Students along, business minded and above all, how to reconcile his academic
time, political and social programs and that earned him the “Departmental Rat” that
runs all the time. Despite the inevitability of facing ideological adversaries,
virtually no one speaks badly of Mr. Michael in the Department and Faculty
On
December, 2012 Mr. David Michael was awarded a certificate of Excellence in
Human Resources & skill Acquisition by Horebson Resources
In
2013 he contested for the position of Director of Socials National Association
of South East Student (NASES) and loss and was later appointed the Director of
Works NASES
In
2014/2015 academic session Mr. David Michael has a divine mandate i.e. a Transformation
Agenda and he contested for the position of the Faculty President and defeated
his opponent with a voting count of 354 against 127 vote, as if that is not enough
he was a record breaker, the first from the department of Architecture to
become the Faculty President and a member of Faculty Presidential Forum Nnamdi
Azikiwe University Awka, he was regarded as the best and most successful
Faculty President and a light to Faculty
of Environmental Sciences . On the 17th day of June, 2015 being Nkwo
Market day at FESSA Cultural Day he was given a title ship as “ICHIE UGOGBUZUE
NKE MBU” also on the 3rd day of July, 2015 at Federated Union of
Mbaise Cultural Day, he was also given a title ship as “CHIEF OGBUAGU NA MBA
ONE OF MBAISE, IMO STATE”.
Chief
(Hon.) David Michael (Ogbuagu Na Mba One of Mbaise) is currently the President
Faculty of Environmental Sciences Students Association (FESSA), the Director of
Works National Association of South East Student (NASES), CEO Machoman
Enterprise, CFO Integrated Design Foundation (IDF) and a BSC Graduate of
Architecture Department today being August, 2015.
